Edenbridge Show

We took 2 charolais and 6 commercial cattle to Edenbridge, where there were over 600 cattle entries, and 76 in the commercial section alone! Taz was 1st, Reserve Breed Champino and Interbreed Male Champion. Aussie won her class again. Three calves by Telemarque (see pic right) were 1st and 2nd in the lightweigh steer class and 1st in the lightweight heifer class, and won the Interbreed Progeny Group. Mini Me won her class and was Reserve Champion Heifer and Reserve Supreme Commercial. The Telemarque steer on the right, Wee Heavy, was Reserve Steer Champion. Flaming Mo and Tam were each 3rd in strong classes.

Cranleigh Show

Burnside Taz won his class (second was Rumsden Udimore, bred at Rumsden and sold to Martin Gibbons' Valentino Herd). Taz went on to be Male Champion, Breed Champion, and Supreme Champion of the 60th Cranleigh Show. Rumsden Around, 13 month old son of Doonally Prince made his show debut, and was 1st and Reserve Male Champion. Rumsden Aussie again won the maiden heifer class. For the first time we also showed a homebred limousin, and were delighted when 11 month old heifer, Rumsden Amber, by Rocky, was 1st and Champion AOB continental.

Kent County Show

Burnsde Taz won his class and was Breed Champion. Rumsden Avalon also won her class. Taz and Aussie won the family pairs class, and Aussie and Avaoln were second in the interbreed pairs class. Mini Me, our Limousin X heifer won her class and was champion of a very strong commercial section. She also won the heifer sweepstakes. Her maternal wee sister, Snowball (BBx, 9 months old) took the Young Farmers section by storm when she won supreme champion of over 100 beef and dairy calves up to 18 months old.

Royal Show

Rumsden Avalon was second in a strong class to the heifer that went on to be Interbreed Junior Champion. Rumsden Akita was also second in her class, and Rumsden Aussie was fourth. Burnside Taz was third behind the Male and Reserve Male Champions. A pretty consistent day for the Rumsden team.
