The National Primestock Show
In 2003 we exhibited at The National Primestock Show for the first time. We were very impressed with the organisation of the event, and delighted with our results. We were charolais champion with Rumsden Twilight, 3rd with a limousin cross suckled calf, and Reserve Champion Piedmontese sired with a steer purchased from John Lampshire, Hartfield.
The South Eastern Primestock Winter Fayre
This Show takes place in the Abergavenny Building at the South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex. It is a lovely show, and we usually support this show with a big team of fatstockers. In 2005 we had our best yet, winning supreme with Lisduff Lad, and all 5 cattle won 1st and Champion or Reserve champion! In 2004 it was held on Tuesday 23rd November, just over a week before Smithfield. We had 1st prizes with Cruz Missile, Black Thunder and Santa, and two Reserve Championships. However, the next two years we donimated the event, winning supreme champion with Lisduff Lad in 2005 and Supreme Champion with homebred charolais cross heifer Henna, by Telemarque.
