Doonally stock performs at Carlisle May 2007Rumsden customers had an excellent sale at the recent Carlisle sale (May 2007). Amongst these were Mr and Mrs Hughes, Trefonnen, whose Doonally New (semen £30/straw from Rumsden) son was Champion and sold for 9,000gns. Sons of New also sold for 8,000gns and 7,500gns, 7,000gns and 6,500gns. All 9 forward sold for over 50,000gns to average nearly 5,600gns. Also doing well was semen customer Mr Houston who sold Gretnahouse Aberfeldy (by Doonally Prince, semen £25/straw from Rumsden) to another Rumsden customer, Balbithan Charolais.
