Bosco is a very exciting new prospect from Southern Ireland. He was Reserve Champion Senior Calf at the Irish National Charolais Show in September 2007. (see picture) His sire is the great Doonally New, whose semen has now run out. His dam is by the exceptional sire Indurain. He is a very powerful bull, and has been purchased from the breeder privately by the Irish National Cattle Breeding Centre. Here at Rumsden we are very impressed by this exciting young bull, and have secured the UK semen rights of the bull. The first semen will be available in May 2008. In Ireland Bosco is rated as an Elite Carcass Bull, with a 5 star ratings for for suckler beef value (+167 Euro), weanling export, beef carcass and calf quality. His sire New also rates 5 star for these traits, with a data accuracy of 97 - 99%.

BOSCO semen is £15 per straw plus £30 royalty fee for a pedigree calf.
