Alex is sired by top show bull Rodin. Rodin won 1st prizes from 2000 to 2005, including at Cournon and Magny Cours.

His Dam, Joconde, is the top maternal rated cow in France with an index of 154.

Alex is a well balanced bull with length and width. He is neat shouldered and not too heavy in the bone, and should therefore not be hard calving . His first calves have been born in Southern Ireland in summer 2008 and are looking impressive. Tall, stretchy calves with good ends.
